Will I be able to communicate in English in China?

Although the majority of young people do know English, a large part of the population that you will find both in streets and restaurants, street booths and more traditional stores will be adults who do not understand English. Therefore, we recommend that you download a translator on your phone to be able to express the simplest things. Here are some examples of phrases you should know:

Hello: ni hao (你好).

Bye: bai bai (拜拜) (como bye bye en inglés) o zai jian (再见).

How much is it?: duo shao qian (多少钱?).

Thank you: xie xie (谢谢).

Ok: hao de (好的).

No problem: mei wen ti (没问题).
